What is the parallax effect & how to enable/disable it?

The parallax effect is the visual effect you see when the device is moved and the background image (if you selected one) appears to move slightly in the background.
It is designed to give the illusion of more depth and dimension.
To enable/disable it, go to Settings > Parallax Effect and toggle on or off.
